The Aquapex and Ace Duraflo programs have two similar approaches to pipe system repair and both are something new to the plumbing industry, which has previously recommended repiping to fix problems with pinholes or slab leaks. Aquapex uses AquaPex Tubing, which is cross-linked polyethylene tubing that can treat hot and cold potable plumbing systems.
Aquapex has been praised for its light and flexible qualities making quality Aquapex Tubing far easier to install. Aquapex is known to be safe and healthy for tap water drinkers, whereas copper piping alone could be a health risk. Aquapex is also resistant to corrosion, pitting and scaling.
Like innovative Aquapex, the Ace Duraflow system is similarly designed to be a repiping alternative. The Ace Duraflow system involves air-drying pipes, cleaning the corundum of the system and finalizing the process by applying an epoxy coating. The epoxy coating and the Aquapex Tubing serve largely the same purpose—to protect the copper piping from the water by acting as a barrier. This allows for cleaner water as well as a more functional system, resistant to corrosion.
Remember that leaks are evidence of a much larger problem in the plumbing system. Ignoring the problem is not a long-term solution, as the flaw in the system will gradually get worse. The most effective treatment is pipe restoration systems like amazing Aquapex and Ace Duraflow.
You can read more about Aquapex and Ace Duraflow at RestoreMyPipes.com. Restore My Pipes is southern California’s channel to the Ace Duraflow system. Both Aquapex and Ace Duraflo ePipe have proven to be more effective than repiping a system in the home. Repiping a system can be costly, messy, and worse yet, questionable in its effectiveness. Using systems like Aquapex and Ace Duraflow can save you thousands of dollars and a lot of precious time.
